As part of Meyer’s comprehensive fencing manual, Joachim Meyer created a dagger system based 5 foundational precepts. The weapon used is the rondel dagger, so called for its distinctive disks that form the hilt and pommel. This dagger was typically 12 to 20 inches long with a triangular blade.
